I‘m incredibly excited to announce that I was just named one of three Andrew W. Mellon Predoctoral Fellows at the Museum of the City of New York. As part of the fellowship, I will be working at the museum two days a week for fourteen months.

The first two months will be dedicated to training. Afterward, the fellowship will continue to be two days per week, but the days I work will be dependent on my individual project assignments.

While not working at the museum, I will be finishing my dissertation, Making a Scene: Underground Comic Books, Punk Rock, Antiauthoritarian Youth Culture and Creating Democratic Spaces in Franco’s Spain, 1955-1984.

I will start at the MCNY on 7 July, and will be finding a new apartment! Updates will be sure to come, and hopefully I’ll get to share some of the experience on here!
